Paper Rose Cards featuring Sunray Background Die

Hi There,
Today I want to share these cards I have made featuring the Sunray Background die from Paper Rose.

I think this card is quite stunning made from cardstock
coloured with acrylic paints, stamps & stencils on my Gel Press plate.
The Sunray Background die #17568 has been cut from watercolour cardstock
spritzed with tiny splatters of various colours of paint to match with the background.

The shadow die cut is cut from Tim Holtz kraft core shattered cardstock.
Happy Birthday to you Layered die #17631
& more contrasting papers from gel printing.

The Scalloped edge square die piece of the Sunray Background was used for the next card.

More gel printed backgrounds used.
The black bird silhouette is from the Lots of Birds die set #17748
sitting on a branch stamped in black archival ink from the Christmas Poinsettia stamp set #17790
The Layered sentiment diecuts are interchangeable, all matching each other.

#17448 Happy Layered die.
Day trimmed from Happy Birthday Layered die #16874

This time the Sunray Background die & the Lots of Bird dies were cut out from Kraft cardstock.

A border was left on the bottom to stamp & white heat emboss
the sentiment from the Poppies Clear stamp set #17496

Hope you enjoy these cards.
You can see that really special cards can be made using simple silhouette die cuts
when combined with vibrant coloured & textured papers.

Cheers for now
