MOONFACE for SCRAP FX

When I saw this Moon face stencil from Scrap FX
I knew I had to feature it with this funny photo of my husband.
It  cracks me up just remembering that day.
The whole family laughed so hard.

Jill Wheeler sends such nice thick A4 chipboard packaging with our goodies from Scrap FX.
I had to use one as a base for this creation once I laid down a coat of white gesso.
I sprayed the background with watery drips of Distress oxide, Fired Brick,
Fossilized Amber & Iced Spruce.
I lightened the background with Antique Linen & the  Lineage Stamp.
Texture was then applied by inking embossing folders
& stamping with these over the surface.
Geometric stencil & Code background stamp created more layers with
Pumice stone, Seedless preserves & Chipped sapphire Distress oxide inks.

The Moonface stencil was applied with Black soot, Seedless Preserves &
Chipped Sapphire distress oxide inks.

Splatters of water added a blended oxidized effect.

The molecules transparency repeated these patterns from the background.
Brushed Pewter distress stain was applied to the chipboard pieces,
'Outta this world' & 'Molecules'.

Splatters of silver & black inks.
The sentiment printed from my computer
as well as some handwriting
complete this piece.

Hope it brings a smile to your 'moon face' too!
Cheers   Deb
