Tim Holtz Inspired Vintage Triptych Canvases

I created these 3 small canvases while away at a retreat quite a few months ago.
They have a lovely vintage feminine feel.

They measure 6 x 6 inches & are decorated using tons of Tim Holtz & some Prima Marketing Products.
The backgrounds were made using Matt Crackle Paste through the Mosaic Layering Stencil.
The cracks & textures accentuated by brushing with Vintage Photo Distress Spray Stain.

Once dry the layers of Ephemera were clustered together.
I used the Ideaology Vintage Ephemera Packs, Botanical & Vellum as well as Thrift Shop & some pieces from Prima Marketing & Imaginarium Chipboard over cotton gauze.

Paper Clay miniature frames, Sizzix Die Cut Angel Wings & Ornate Frame 2 & Paper Dolls
formed the main accents on each canvas.
The Angel Wings were embossed using the Tile Texture Fade.

All the Layered Textures were brought forward by rubbing the surfaces with Prima  Finnabair Metallique Waxes in Vintage Gold & Aged Brass.

A Closer View.

I cannot believe I haven't created any posts on this blog for nearly 12 months.
Since HobbySew Echuca (Craft Shop) closed down and my Creative Team duties over,
I have been attending lots of workshops for my own enjoyment.
Will be posting lots of examples of my work from this year as soon as possible.
Cheers Deb
